Thar she blows!
I was just reading a Readers Digest interview with Jeff Bauman, a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing. He had written in his book Stronger “bad people are rare, but good people are everywhere” and explains to RD “there were only two people who did the bombing, but their actions have been pushed aside by all the good people who’ve come through and helped out.” I think of the Oso mudslide, and although no bad people were involved, I am constantly in awe by how many people are coming together to help out. It seems as if every day five new fundraisers/benefits/collection drives are being started. It’s just a beautiful thing and I am so thankful for the good people in this world.
